A bit about Hicacos

On Cuba's northernmost tip between the Bay of Cárdenas and the Nicholas Channel of the Atlantic Ocean, the Hicacos Peninsula takes its name from a species of cactus that grows on the island. Home to the resort town of Varadero, Hicacos hosts some of Cuba's most sought-after hotels as well as the Hicacos Point Natural Park.
