What Do We Know About Dreams Flora?
Dreams Flora is the newest Dreams Resort in Punta Cana – or anywhere for that matter! As such, details have been hard to come by. So, what do we know about the 520-room behemoth?
Well, it’s going to be bursting with amazing amenities including 4 pools, 7 restaurants, 11 bars, a spa, fitness centre, and a plethora of land and water sports. There’s even a Core Teens Zone and Kid’s Club for the littler explorers – all situated on the sparkling beachfront at Cabeza de Toro.
Plus, to make the proposition of staying in 5-star luxury in the Caribbean even sweeter, you can also take advantage of all the usual Unlimited-Luxury® privileges expected in a Dreams location.
Is Dreams Flora A New Build?
Although it is all new, Dreams Flora Resort & Spa is a full renovation rather than a completely new build. Sitting on the site of the old Natura Park Beach & Spa Eco Resort on the east coast of Punta Cana, it benefits from wonderful positioning.
But, while we can’t say Dreams Flora is a “new build”, it basically is. Every element of the resort has been updated. From the rooms to the endless activity areas. You can treat this new haven as exactly that.
Is Dreams Flora A Family-Friendly Resort?
Dreams Flora is family-friendly. Alongside the babysitting services that are available upon request your big and little kids will love spending time splashing around in the on-site water park.
Plus, the dedicated Explorer’s Club and Core Zone Teens Club offer specialised activities tailored to varying age ranges. In the younger Explorer’s Club, find trained childcare staff leading a host of edutainment activities, as well as free play opportunities.
Whereas, the Core Zone offers a less structured approach where older kids can get away from it all and engage with more people their own age.
However, those family-centric facilities don’t draw away from the fact that this place is also a brilliant choice for an adults-only escape. Excusive adults-only areas are dotted around the resort including pools, bars, and restaurants.
Things To Do At Dreams Flora
As we said earlier, there are a whole host of things to do at Dreams Flora. From exploring the surrounding coral reef gardens to shooting down fun slides in the water park.
When you’re not kicking back on your sun lounger on the beach or next to one of 4 pools, you could be making the most of a tranquil haven in the Spa by Pevonia®. In this high-end facility, your body and mind will be gently soothed by luxurious Pevonia products, while massage, beauty, and hydrotherapy treatments all help enhance the relaxation.
Away from the spa, sports lovers might be interested to know that the resort rests just 10 minutes from the Catalonia Caribe Golf Course. The 18-hole, par 72 course offers a challenging yet beautiful hole featuring a green positioned inside an artificial lake.

Altos de Chavón
A stunningly beautiful, sun-soaked Mediterranean village overlooking the majestic Río Chavón. This 16th-century re-creation of a European settlement waits an hour from the hotel and guarantees a beautiful day out.
Saona Island
One of the best excursions in Dominican Republic. Saona Island is a popular day out, so you may have to book early. But when you do you’ll discover a picture-perfect island paradise the likes of which you’ve only seen in the Swiss Family Robinson.
Catalina Island
Another amazing island that’s slightly less known than Saona. Catalina is a perfect day out if you love nothing more than exploring the kaleidoscopic world under the waves. Resting approximately 1.5 miles from the mainland this secluded spot is a diver or snorkeller’s dream.
La Romana
Those looking to embrace more Dominican culture should make the 65-minute journey to La Romana. One of the largest cities in the country, here you can find endless culture, bars, restaurants, shopping, and lounging options.
