The Excellence Collection Announces Huge Development Plans
High-end Caribbean resort group, The Excellence Collection has announced ambitious multi-million-pound development plans to further build on their enviable reputation.
The Excellence Collection have earmarked $50 million to improve amenities across eight properties in their Caribbean hotel portfolio.
With five-star resorts dotted across the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Jamaica, the opulent brand has become synonymous with high-end holidaying in some of the world’s most desirable locations.
What works are being completed?
The bulk of the upgrades will be taking place at Excellence Oyster Bay in Jamaica, where new Beach Villas with private pools will be added.
As a result of the spectacular villas’ popularity, the group has taken the decisive action of almost tripling their remit to 17 Beach Villas.
The sparkling new accommodation will spread over 1,500 square feet of living space and boast plush amenities like a garden with a jacuzzi, shaded porches, outdoor lounge areas complete with a pool, as well as a private stretch of beach.
In addition, other segments of the funding will be used to upgrade more popular common areas of the group’s other resorts in Cancun, Riviera Maya, Punta Cana, and Montego Bay.
When Is The Work Scheduled to Take Place?
Phase one of the updates is penned to start straight away at their Excellence Playa Mujeres property and the group has penciled in an eventual end date for the works of 2024.
