Antigua Weddings Fam Trip
This was a trip that I was really looking forward to. I had visited Antigua only on a cruise ship before and liked what I saw. I flew out from London Gatwick with Virgin and was really surprised that the flight only took us 7 hours and 50 minutes. The heat hit us as we disembarked the plane and I couldn't wait to check into our first resort.

The transfer was waiting for us when we exited the airport and the ride to the hotel only took 50 minutes, the roads in Barbados are brilliant for the Caribbean, not bumpy and they drive on the same side as us. Upon arrival a welcome drink awaited us, and as the hotel is a premium all inclusive there were no silly wrists band stating you are on all inclusive. The bell boy shows us to our room with a quick tour on route.

On the 4th November 2009, I took a short domestic flight from Manchester airport to London Gatwick, I was very nervous but looking forward to what the next 5 days had in store! After checking in I met with the other travel agents. The flight with Virgin Atlantic lasted approximately 8 hours and 45 minutes but it flew by as I enjoyed watching the latest films on demand. Before I knew it we had arrived in beautiful Barbados! This was my first time to the island.
