Toni Pitman

Assistant Management Accountant

What’s not to love about travel? It's fascinating, progressive, fast paced and every day brings something new. This is my first time working in Travel and I wouldn’t swap it for the world. I didn’t think I could love working in finance any more than I already do and, yet, here I am! I joined Blue Bay Travel having completed an apprenticeship and part of my AAT qualification with the hope to continue qualifying during my position here as Assistant Management Accountant. I have learned that the more you love what the business sells, the more enjoyable any job can be, and this has definitely been reflected in my role at Blue Bay Travel.

In a nutshell.

  • Describe yourself in three words: Optimistic, enthusiastic, passionate.
  • Catchphrase: “It’ll be fine” … Usually followed by “we’ll sort it”.
  • Likes: Numbers, meeting new people, horses, cars and of course, holidays!
  • Hidden talent: Singing – I sing regularly when alone, not so often in front of others anymore. Although, a couple of bottles of wine always helps to boost the confidence!
  • Lesser-known fact about you: I was once a part of a school choir and performed a solo during “You raise me up” at Litchfield Cathedral. I still sing in the shower… Stages are no longer my thing!
  • Best feeling in the world: Road trips! I love the feeling of driving along, playing those cheesy hits and having no idea what’s in store for the day!
  • Favourite snack: Pizza… I’m an absolute sucker for Dominos!
  • What type of hat best describes your personality: A Crown – Behind every great king, there is a queen!
  • If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why: Telepathy… It would make life so much easier!
  • Best holiday you’ve ever had: Jamaica, to date – watch this space!
