Sara Whitfield

Personal Travel Consultant

I have worked in travel for nearly 20 years and have been lucky enough to experience many amazing places and things from around the world. I love to share these experiences with others. Allowing other people to bring their hopes and dreams alive is a true privilege and what gets me out of bed every morning. I have a strong focus on helping to make the world more accessible for clients who think it impossible to achieve it. The world is an ever-changing place, and you never stop learning. I believe it's true that "Of all the books in the world, the best stories are found between the pages of a passport". I’d love to help you write your book.

In a nutshell.

  • Describe yourself in three words: Sociable, passionate, honest.
  • Catchphrase: “What will be, will be”.
  • Likes: Travel, food, rugby and gin!
  • Hidden talent: I used to play the violin.
  • Lesser-known fact about you: I used to swim for the county at school.
  • Best feeling in the world: Sitting looking out over the ocean at sunset with a glass of something cold, without a care in the world.
  • Favourite snack: Blue cheese, grapes, and prosciutto.
  • What type of hat best describes your personality: Tiara – I like the finer things in life.
  • If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why: I would love to have the ability to read minds to ensure I really understand what people are thinking.
  • Best holiday you’ve ever had: This is a really tough question as I have had many wonderful experiences both with and without my family. But I think I’d have to say The Maldives as my all-time favourite. I just love the luxury, tranquillity, and beauty it offers. Snorkeling with a pod of dolphins naturally in the wild was truly remarkable.
