Let’s dive under the waves to find out just exactly how essential our global waters are to our planet’s survival.

In March 2023, the UN reached a historic agreement, declaring their support for protecting marine biodiversity in international waters. This action has been widely celebrated from all corners of the globe, but what does this really mean?

Following COP26 in Glasgow, a new series of Ocean Dialogues were mandated, bringing ocean protection to the forefront of fighting Climate Change.

A significant report delivered by the UN Climate Change Secretariat recognised that Climate Change is actively disproportionally affecting coastline communities; this means the impacts are affecting livelihoods, home-security, food sources as well as overall well-being and communal health.

Our sea-life ecosystems too are enduring severe impacts from our industrial choices. With our ocean waters warming, acidification and deoxygenation increasing; flora and fauna are experiencing unsustainable conditions, and all in addition to rising sea levels.

Come on a journey with us to discover a whole new world, learn more about our under-water wonders and what surprises our coastal regions hold. We guarantee you’ll sea your next beach trip in a whole new light.
