Product Manager

Blue Bay Travel is the UK's leading independent long-haul holiday experts. We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our growing team, working directly with our Product Management Director to expand our growing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expand contracting into new areas worldwide
  • Proactively secure new hotels and deals for our Caribbean & Mexico portfolio
  • Assist in the creation of promotional activity to generate sales leads
  • Internally communicate promotional activity to the relevant departments
  • Assist the production of in-house assets for promotional activity
  • Assess third-party content to ensure it meets agreed standards
  • Assess H and S viability of new product
  • Assist in the creation of promotional pricing structures
  • Proactively monitor the pricing of key products to ensure competitiveness
  • Independently investigate and resolve pricing issues raised by the team
Essential Skills
  • Strong contract negotiation skills
  • Proven track record of delivering results
  • Ability to form lasting, collaborative partnerships
  • Solid communication skills, as the role will be based remotely from the office
  • Experience contracting the Caribbean, Indian Ocean, Middle East and Far East
  • Passion for data accuracy and standardisation
  • Passion for understanding and analysing data
  • Love of knowledge and an eagerness to learn
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • The ability to multi-task swiftly
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines unsupervised

Reservations Agent

Blue Bay Travel are the UK's leading independent Caribbean specialists. We work hard, love a good laugh, and relish being that little bit different. Between us we've traveled the globe, collecting knowledge and experience to ensure that we stay ahead of the game. The role of Reservations Agent is a non-selling role, which sits within our Contracts and Reservations department. The purpose of the role is to fulfill all elements of holiday package bookings which are made on our website, and partner websites; booking in each element with the relevant supplier and issuing confirmation and essential information documents to the customers via email. In addition, to report all direct contract hotel reservations to the hotels, process the confirmation and service all amendments and cancellations.

Must Haves
  • Ability to learn and independently use a variety of travel booking systems
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, whilst working at a fast pace
  • The ability to multitask and effectively prioritise
  • The ability to problem-solve and independently find resolutions
  • Desirable: Previous experience within the Travel Industry
  • Desirable: Experience of data entry or order fulfillment

Salary & benefits


  • £13,000 per annum on commencement. Rising to £14,000 based on service and personal performance

Working hours

32 hours per week, working a 3 week rolling rota. Mon - Thu 13:00 - 21:30, 4 days off. Tue - Wed 08:30-17:00, 1 day off. Friday 08:30-17:00, Saturday 09:00-17:30, Sunday 10:30-19:00, Monday 08:30-17:00, 2 days off. Thursday 08:30-17:00, Friday 10:30-19:00, 1 day off.
