What can I say? It’s work<\/em>! \u00a0I was invited by my Director to represent our company at the Karisma Awards 2010 in Mexico which took place at their El Dorado Royale property in Mexico\u2019s Riviera Maya.<\/p>\n

With more than a mile of sandy beach and all the luxuries you can dream of, combined with an emphasis on personal attention to your every whim, this was an ideal opportunity for me to experience a luxury 5* Adults Only all inclusive holiday and at the same time, to collect our award.<\/p>\n

Needless to say, I said yes, I WILL go!<\/p>\n

Location of El Dorado Royale<\/a><\/strong> is superb for holiday makers who wish to\u00a0 explore the delights of the Riviera Maya & Cancun, the latter being a 40 minutes taxi ride away while the vibrant town of Playa Del Carmen is less than half that distance away.<\/p>\n

On arrival at El Dorado Royale, I was greeted with a smile, a refreshing towel and a welcome cocktail. The d\u00e9cor and overall atmosphere of the resort provided for a relaxed yet upscale environment with lush landscaping.<\/p>\n

My suite was an Oceanfront Jacuzzi Junior Suite which was just a few steps away from the beach, offering superb views of the Caribbean Sea.<\/p>\n

The room had air-conditioning, an expansive. And my favorite \u2013 definitely Kampai, which specializes in authentic Oriental cuisine.<\/p>\n

A majority of my evenings began in the Martini bar. My hot tip \u2013 sample the chocolate martini – it is heaven. The evening entertainment at Guacamayas bar is of a high quality, the bar having swings and comfy chairs next to the entertainment area and stage \u2013 the live shows varied each night from Acrobatics dangling terrace with a hammock, four poster bed, ceiling fan, double Jacuzzi in the corner. The bathroom was a good size with walk in shower, color cable TV, daily stocked minibar, and other amenities<\/p>\n

The restaurants at El Dorado Royale are stunning<\/a>. Fantastic, themed d\u00e9cor means for that split second, you can imagine yourself dining in France, Italy, Mexico etc… dependant upon which of the 7 restaurants on offer you choosefrom the ceiling above to magic, dancing, singing shows to crowd participation was very entertaining to watch.<\/p>\n

This hotel has so much to offer with so many activities and facilities<\/a> there is something for everyone here. I enjoyed the sandy beach and due to the sandbags that protect the beach this hotel was great for snorkeling as the water is so clear.<\/p>\n

While in Mexico, I was afforded the opportunity of visiting other hotels in the Karisma group, namely El Dorado Seasides Suites, El Dorado Maroma Beach, Azul Beach, Azul Fives & Sensatori. Each of these fantastic resorts has it\u2019s own characteristics and unique features.<\/p>\n
