Design Assistant

As a Design Assistant, you’ll use your creative flare to produce high-quality design assets that generate sales leads and promote our brand identity.

While non-essential, the following skills would put a smile on our faces:

  • Basic HTML knowledge
  • Experience in the design industry
  • Experience of designing for print and digital mediums
  • Understanding of colour profiling, image resolution, typography and branding

What you'll get up to

The work of a Design Assistant is varied and flavoursome:

  • Create assets for in-house campaign activity for various mediums, including emails, social and web
  • Design collateral for print, digital, merchandise and outdoor marketing
  • Work with third parties to produce assets for external marketing activity, ensuring they meet set print and digital specifications
  • Produce innovative design solutions that are optimised for customer experience and lead generation
  • Ensure assets are functionally and creatively optimised for use across multiple platforms.
  • Generate ideas for asset optimisation and development in line with performance data
  • Understand customer experiences relative to different persona types
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards and mood-boards
  • Support both the Marketing and Development Teams where required

Salary & benefits


  • Starting salary between £16,300 — £18,000 dependant on experience
  • Salary increase based on service and personal progression up to £22,500
  • 20 days holiday, rising to 24 with service
