Product & Contracts Manager

Our Product & Contracts Manager will drive and develop our directly contracted hotel product to reach our business targets and ensure Holidaymakers continue to receive the best deals around.

What you'll get up to

Product & Pricing
  • Responsible for direct contract hotel product and the Product & Contracts Team
  • Maintain productive partner relationships
  • Identify and addressing under-performing accounts
  • Plan ahead to ensure a constant supply of robust tactical offers
  • Negotiate the strongest contracts on the market
  • Secure new hotel supplier relationships and introduce new hotel contracts to the Blue Bay portfolio in line with the business product strategy
  • Work closely with the Marketing Team to ensure strong campaigns that meet key KPIs
  • Ensure all annual Health & Safety checks are completed and documented for direct contract properties
  • Maintain efficient processes and communication within the Product & Contracts Team
  • Ensure robust procedures are in place for hotel stop sales and reservations
  • Liaise with air providers to keep abreast of upcoming sales and rates offers
Business Development
  • Drive continuous business growth through developing a target list of new and relevant hotel product
  • Maintain and develop Tourist Board relationships
  • Co-ordinate promotional activity with partners
  • Secure supplier marketing funds in line with annual budget expectations and agree annual and ad hoc marketing exposure
  • Keep abreast of competitor activity and market trends
  • Monitor, track and analyse performance by supplier to make informed decisions for existing and new product
  • Lead, direct and develop the Product & Contracts Team
  • Be an active participant of the Management Team
  • Track and monitor performance of the Product & Contracts Team as well as managing, coaching and developing team members
  • Provide assistance when required to Sales, Marketing and Customer Service by utilising strong supplier relationships

Online Reservations Agent

Our Online Reservations Agents are always on hand to ensure a flawless booking process for our online customers from start to finish.

Must Haves

  • Be flexible and versatile
  • Have a high level of planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • IT literate, specifically Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of working in a sales or customer service environment, desirable
  • Working knowledge of the holiday and travel industry, desirable
What you'll get up to
  • Process bookings made via online platforms
  • Confirm booking details to customers and ensure bookings are made with 100% accuracy, and in line with customer requirements
  • Inform customers of essential information such as their balance and payment schedule, passport and visa requirements, and medical and travel advice
  • Adhere to data protection legislation, PCI compliance and ABTA and ATOL, as well as internal guidelines
  • Maximise up-sell opportunities, such as airport parking, lounges, excursions and online transfers, in line with the customers holiday aspirations
  • Provide holiday quotes via 'live chat', social media and email
  • Consistently hit KPI's including: average chat response times, conversion targets (quotes to bookings), ancillaries targets and internal quality check scores.

Salary & benefits

  • Starting salary £16,300
  • Salary increase based on service and personal progression up to £18,00

Working hours

40 hours per week. Shifts include two late shifts per week (12:15-21:30) and every other weekend
