This was a much-looked-forward-to visit to Secrets The Vine. I had seen the images of what they expected it to look like and was really hoping that it would be as stunning in reality.

After a comfortable journey we arrived into Punta Cana airport which unusually has thatched roofs giving it a very Caribbean feel; after clearing immigration we set off to our first hotel, Dreams Punta Cana.

I flew to Mexico for 6 days in July to visit all of the Secrets, Dreams, Now and Zoetry properties. I met with all of the wonderful wedding coordinators, viewed all of the wedding locations and ate lots of wedding cake!

After a nine hour, early morning flight, we arrived at Montego Bay airport which has recently been updated making it quicker and much more efficient. We went straight through immigration and boarded our private bus to the first resort, Couples Tower Isle. Upon arrival we were greeted with a very refreshing cocktail. Our checked baggage was taken to our rooms for us while we made ourselves comfortable. The rooms we stayed in had a very clean and modern feel to them. We had an ocean view suite which was beautiful.

This was to be my first visit to Mexico and I was really pleased to be given the opportunity to go. There were just seven of us on the trip and none had been to Mexico before so we were all able to learn together.
